Sandstorm was a ThunderClan hunter in the forest and lake territories. She was born to an unknown pair of BloodClan cats, later left by the ThunderClan border and taken in by Redtail and Runningwind with the name of Sandkit. Sandpaw was soon promoted to an apprentice with Darkstripe as her mentor, later promoted to a warrior by the name of Sandstorm.

A Vision of Shadows

Sandstorm has now retired and incredibly close to her younger litter, Alderpaw and Sparkpaw, after Firestar's death. When Alderpaw receives a vision of SkyClan, Sandstorm demands to journey alongside him to find them, much to the displeasure of Squirrelflight and Bramblestar. When her and the other journeying cats reach the gorge and find Darktail's Kin, ending up in capture, Sandstorm plans to help the younger cats escape and find their way back home with her, Breezestrike, Curlfeather and Tigerheart remaining imprisoned. Sleekpaw, Needlepaw, Sparkpaw, Brindlepaw and Alderpaw all manage to escape, alongside Tigerheart, but Sandstorm is killed by Darktail in the process, sending her to StarClan, where she now resides.

→ Sandstorm and Longtail are merged characters! Sandstorm (keeping the name cause its cool) has a mix of both characters appearance, personality and story, although more of Canon!Longtail's story rather than Canon!Sandstorm.
