Spottedleaf is a ThunderClan seer in the forest territories. She was born to Rosetail and Sunstar with the name of Spottedleaf alongside her brother Redkit. Spottedpaw was soon promoted to a healer apprentice with Featherbloom as her mentor, later promoted to a full seer by the name of Spottedleaf.

Omen of the Stars

Spottedleaf remains as Firestar's spiritual guide until Redtail is killed in the Eclipse Battle and is appointed as Firestar's new spiritual guide due to Spottedleaf's constant oversharing about StarClan's knowledge. Although, Spottedleaf regularly hijacks this connection from Redtail, much to his usual (affectionate) annoyance with her.

Soon after, Spottedleaf hears of the Kin of your Kin prophecy, one that was intentionally kept from her due to the danger of the prophecy. StarClan cats have been forbidded to consistently visit the Three in dreams and keep them at paw's length, especially Jaypaw. This intrigues Spottedleaf, convincing her to visit Jaypaw in his dreams, and share some of her knowledge with the young tom. Spottedleaf often shares her disdain for StarClan's rules with Jaypaw, who seems equally annoyed.

When the Great Battle of the Eclipse arrives, Spottedleaf is channeled down by Jayfeather to help battle the cats of the Starless Forest. She takes on Thistleclaw, the cat who had preyed on her when she was alive until being brutally murdered by Spottedleaf's brother and acquaintances. Spottedleaf and Thistleclaw enter a duel, with only Spottedleaf making it out alive, spitting on the dead tom's body.
